BIOGRAPHY

Johnnie Ben-Edigbe is an associate professor of transportation, the Director of Transportation Training Centre, England, former Director of JBE Consulting, England. He is widely recognized as an academic with expertise in Transportation. 

Johnnie has worked with many local authorities in England including London Borough of Croydon, London Borough of Merton, Birmingham City Council, Surrey County Council and Coventry City Council. He has also worked with the private sector including AmeyMouchel Consulting, Telford, England, Aspen Lewis Group, London. His practical experience includes several funded projects. 

Johnnie focuses on leading research to realise the benefits of reducing traffic congestion and enhancing safety. He has a clear understanding of the 21st century challenges facing urban transportation and traffic. He has made ground breaking research findings in; highway quality of service appraisal, traffic perturbations and drivers behaviour under wet weather conditions.

Prof. Johnnie Ben-Edigbe graduated from Birch Freeman High School in 1972. And he is a member of Birch Freeman High School Old Boys' Association' Guild of Awardees.
